NATIONAL MONUMENT


Monumen Nasional (National Monument), commonly known as Monas, is a very famous landmark of Jakarta. Monas becomes famous because of several things. First, it has unique shape of lingga yoni, symbol of fertility on Hindu mythology. Second, this 137 meter height tower has 14.5 ton flame-shaped bronze layered by 35 kg gold on the top. This flame symbolizes the struggle of Indonesia people. Third, Monas is a cheap tourist’s object where visitors can watch diorama of Indonesia’s history inside, and see the beautiful scenery of Jakarta on the highest floor. Fourth, Monas is located at the center of Merdeka Square, strategically in Central Jakarta. So it’s easy to visit this landmark from all areas of Jakarta.

HOME WATER SYSTEM


Actually, water system in a house used hot and cold water is very simple. First, water from main source is pumped into the house through main pipe. This water is called cold water. The main pipe is branched, so some of this water flows directly into sink, toilet, or others appliances, while another flows to main water tank to be kept. Then from this tank, water flow to heater tank. In heater tank, water is processed using electricity to become hot. Next, this hot water flows to washbasin, sink, and other appliances, except to appliances which don’t need hot water in used. Finally, people can choose what water they want to use.
