Water Process in House (task 2)

This is how the water goes to our house. Water from underground is pumped to reach the top of the house. Water goes into the sink and roof where the cold water tank is. Through the pipelines, water is flown to the bath, wash basin, and toilet without any process. From, the cold water tank, water is also flown to the hot water tank to be heated. From this tank, hot water is flown to the sink, wash basin, bath, and toilet. And water is ready to used.

Sewage Disposal Mechanism

Sewage from factory which contains dangerous materials needs some treatment before flown into the river safely. The method to treat the sewage is Sewage Disposal Mechanism. First of all, the sewage will be flown to the main sewer. From the main sewer, the sewage will be flown to the settling tank where the sewage will be separated in two forms. Solid matter which is sediment at the bottom will be removed and burned. Through the pump house, the liquid sewage which means polluted water from the settling tank is flowed to the sprinkler bed. In this bed, water is pumped by the hydraulic and water will reach the surface of the sprinkler bed. Then, water will be rotated by the rotating arm. The polluted water is filtered by contacting stones and microorganism with the water. Finally, this clean water can be flown to the river.

Nowadays we can extract methane gas from household waste with some simple steps. First, the waste from household was accumulated in the warming bed. From this warming bed, the waste will be separated for two kinds of usages, as a fertilizer, which can be used directly without any further process, and as a main material for the methane extraction. For methane extraction, the household waste goes directly to the dirt trap. The dirt trap will cause the methane separated from other contents of the waste. Then, the methane, which is in liquid phase, flows into gas indicator. Here, the methane is checked whether its gas is still produce or not by seeing the bubbles in water. After that, the methane gas flows into two pipes. The first pipe distributes the gas to a pressure release tank in order to decrease the pressure of gas, while another pipe distributes the gas to the inner tubes (with weight on the top of it) in order to increase the pressure of the gas. At the end of this pipe, there is a tap which controls the output of the extracted methane gas. Methane that comes out from this tap is ready to use.

Sewage Disposal Mechanism

Sewage cannot be thrown directly in the environment. Because of dangerous material that contain in the sewage, it need some treatment before its waste. In a Factory, there is method name Sewage Disposal Mechanism to treat the sewage. Sewage Disposal Mechanism in a Factory is doing in a few steps. First, sewage from the factory will be flown to the main sewer. From the main sewer, it is flown into the settling tank for a while. In the settling tank, this sewage will be separated in two forms. Solid matter from the sewage will be sediment under the settling tank before it’s removed and burned. The liquid matter is flown to the pump house by some kind of pipe. Then it is flown to the sprinkler bed. The sewage entered the sprinkler beds from the bottom to the top. On the top of the sprinkler beds, there is some kind of t-shape pipe names rotating arm. When the polluted water reaches the rotating arm, it will be sprinkler so the water can be spread in the surface of sprinkler beds and flown into it. In the sprinkler beds, there are some kind of filter made by layers of stones and microorganism. When the polluted water came through, it will be filtered so the water that came out from the sprinkler beds will pure and free from dangerous material. After that, the pure water can be flown and join into the stream of river safety.

Bogor Botanical Garden

Bogor –my hometown-has many interesting place and the most famous place is Bogor Botanical Garden. Bogor Botanical Garden is large area ( cover more than 80 hectares) of the original rainforest that contains more than 15.000 species of trees and plants, 400 type of palm, 3000 orchids, and 50 different varieties of birds and bats. The bats can be easily detected by the noise they make while competing for space under the canopies. The gardens officially opened in 1817 by German–born Dutch Botanist, Professor Casper George Carl Reinwardt and were used to research and develop plants and seeds from other parts of the Indonesian archipelago for cultivation during the 19th century. This site was also used by the Dutch for introducing tropical plants from other parts of the world into the region and served as a training ground for specialists in tropical botany., providing excellent specimens for scientific study.. Now Bogor botanical garden is known as a great natural recreation not only for Indonesian people but also tourist in around the world and the most important Bogor Botanical Garden reputation as a major center for botanical research makes people in all part of the world give their respect for our country.

TASK 2 PROCESS PARAGRAPH

The distribution water in our environment especially in our house is quite easy to be learned. First water from water source, for example ground water or aquifer, is pumped in pipeline system by water provider like PDAM in Indonesia to customer house. Next water in house pipeline system with cold condition move in three direction. First direction is sink in lower part of house, two others direction in the upper part of house. Second direction located in upper part of house are toilet, wash basin,and bath. Last direction also located in upper part of house is cold water tank .In this tank cold water can be storaged or move into hot water tank. Cold water can be converted into hot water. The hot water can used in bath and wash basin. So people can choose water condition for they need.

CHILD LABOR :

Unexpected condition

Industrialization era not only gives many advantages but also gives problems. The most serious problem is childs forced to be worker in factory and manufacture. The International Year of Child claimed that more than fifty million children below the age of fifteen working in varios jobs under hazardous conditions They usually do simple task and support their parents work, for example in shoe factory, textile factory, and cigarette factory. Although they can support their parents, child labor only gain little money for their contributions.

Child labor grow in unexpected condition, it means that children labor must barter their childhood with something that they should not have know in earliest stage of their life, working world. Child Labor lose their play time with their friends and it makes their social intelligence development very poor. Child labor also lack of education especially formal education, like kindergarten level, primary level, junior and higschool level also college level. The lack of formal education make their intelligence to anlyze and solve the problem is below average normal child in same age. Consequently they can’t compete others person who have formal education to get job and can’t make their life better. The last unexpected condition is child labor usually live in unhealthy environment, inadequate food, decentless shelter, and lack of clean water. These unexpected condition must be faced by child labor to stay alive.

The quantity of child labor is increase every year and sure it is bad news, not only for underdevelop country but also develop country . The effort to eliminate child labor expansion come from the International Labour Organization, sepecial agency of United Nations and founded in1919. This organization has introduced several regulations among its members,including a minimum age of sixteen years for admission to all work, a higher minimum age for specific type of employment , compulsory medical examinations, and regulation of night work. Although these regulations was made to solve child labor problems, The International Labour Organization can’t make ILO’s members enforce these regulations because the member nations have strategical and political policy in their nations. Moreover that is important if all of part of the world aware and care about labor child problem and give contribution to minimalize it.

I am very proud become bogor civil, not only I was born in there but there are many reasons that support my statement.

Before I tell my reasons, I will give some good information about Bogor City . Bogor, formerly Buitenzorg, city in western Indonesia, on western Java Island, near Jakarta. The city was founded by the Dutch in 1745.

The first reason is Bogor city has a presidential palace that is named Bogor Palace. Formerly this building is the Dutch Governor Genereal resident This building records much important event in Indonesian history. The last event is marriage ceremony Susilo Bambang Yuhhoyono- Indonesian number 1- oldest son on 2006.

The second reasons is Bogor city has famous botanical garden, Bogor Botanical Garden. This site was first used by the Dutch for introducing tropical plants from other parts of the world into the region. In 1817 it was converted into a botanical garden and served as a training ground for specialists in tropical botany. A large area of the original rainforest on which the garden was founded has been preserved in its natural state, providing excellent specimens for scientific study. The garden also has outstanding collections of palms, bamboos,orchids, and ornamental trees. Now, Bogor botanical garden is known as a great natural recreation not only for Indonesian people but also tourist in around the world.

The last but not least, I love this city because although Bogor city small in area’side but this city has give big contribution for Indonesian, not only in economy sector but also contribute in Indonesian Culture, and the biggest thing that Bogor city contribute in Environment campaign to make our world always ‘green’.
